WOVEN ITEMS

Mexican Blanket
This blanket was woven with the bright colors typical of Mexican weavings.

Hopi manta
This very rare Hopi manta would have been worn by a woman. It would have been draped over one shoulder and belted at the waist. The panel was laced along the one side to hold it close to the body. Hopi weavings seldom pass outside the tribe.

Intarsia weaving
This is the reverse side of the design. It reminds me of intarsia knitting.
