Native Peoples
These photos show the items that were created by the Native American peoples. In many cases, a variety of beading approaches is shown, depending on the group from which it originated.
The tribal designation was taken from donor records. No additional research has been done to verifiy the information.

Beaded buckle
This beaded buckle is Lakota in origin.

Amulet bag side 1
Because it is in the shape of a turtle, this would have been an amulet bag carried by a Sioux female. Sioux male amulets were in the shape of a lizard.
