This area includes projects that have been hand made. The majority of examples are embroidery, but it also includes samples of knitting, crochet, lace and beadwork. In some cases, the project may have been created on a machine, but the techniques is so seldom seen, I feel it deserves a wider audience and broader recognition.

NEEDLEWORK

This colorful table cover has been pieced, felted and embroidered.

This is an example of the peasant work from China. The blue and white work usually is found with a scene of some sort done in a central circular medallian. This medallian is surrounded by edges done in geometric shapes.

We know very little about this piece. It looks as if it could be related to Hungarian Kalousa work, but the language is not Hungarian.
